We help founders and boards

get heard where it matters.

Strategic communications that shape reputation, influence and growth. We advise boards, founders and leadership teams across Ireland, the UAE, the UK and the US.

What we believe

Bannerton believes in starting conversations, not joining them.

Bannerton believes in starting conversations,

not joining them.

Reputation is built long before it is tested. We help leaders decide what they want to be known for, then put that idea in front of the people who matter, in the right outlets, in the right markets, at the right moment. We advise leadership teams through the moments that shape how they are seen: a launch, a funding round, a move into a new market. Every client works directly with our founder, Sharon Bannerton.

We advise leadership teams through the moments that shape how they are seen: a launch, a funding round, a move into a new market. Every client works directly with our founder, Sharon Bannerton.

The founder

Sharon Bannerton, Founder and Managing Director, Bannerton

Sharon founded Bannerton in 2010 and still leads every account herself, from Dublin and Dubai. Clients bring her in when a reputation has to be built, a leader needs to be heard or a business is moving into a new market, and she works directly with founders, chief executives and boards to make it happen. She holds the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction with Distinction.

Sharon is a natural storyteller, and every brief starts with the story a business isn't telling. She works to what she calls the Bannerton 80:20: most of what a business puts out should help people understand its world, and only a small part should ask them to buy. Get that balance right and journalists want the story for its own sake, and the client is carried with it.

Most of her work is long term, and that is by design. She doesn't run campaigns that end when the coverage does. She learns a business properly and keeps going until the right people are listening, which is why clients tend to stay for years, some for the best part of a decade. That is how she built Bannerton in Ireland, and it is why companies moving between Ireland, the UK and the Gulf now bring her in early, when getting it wrong would cost them most.

Dip IoD, Distinction | PRWeek Middle East Power Book 2025 | PR/Advertising Agency of the Year, Business & Finance B2B Awards 2016 | Business All-Star 2019 | Ireland · UAE · UK · US | Founded 2010

Sharon grew up around her family's car dealership, where she learned early that people buy from those they trust. She has spent her career turning that instinct into a discipline.

Got something

worth saying?

Every engagement starts with a conversation. Write to us in Ireland or the UAE and we will come straight back to you.

Gas Strategies. The voice of reason on LNG.

Gas Strategies has advised governments, majors and utilities on gas and LNG for decades. We made its Chairman and CEO, Pat Breen, the steady voice that business editors and broadcasters turn to on LNG, from the BBC to The National, as the Strait of Hormuz crisis shook the market.

Heroiks. A Paris group, launched in the Gulf.

When French marketing group Heroiks opened Heroiks MENA in Dubai, Bannerton led the launch across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, from the timing of the announcement to the founder's interviews.

COLE'D with Gopuff. A footballer's nickname, a heatwave headline.

Chelsea footballer Cole Palmer launched COLE'D, a premium craft ice range, with the delivery app Gopuff. Bannerton handled the PR for the UK launch, built on the “Cold Palmer” nickname fans had already given him and timed to a record-breaking June heatwave.

SymPhysis Medical. A medtech story investors and editors back.

SymPhysis Medical is a Galway medtech company developing releaze, a drainage system designed so patients with malignant pleural effusion can manage their care at home. We tell its story to investors, editors and the medtech community as it grows from Galway to Rhode Island.

Champion Green. Backing local, nationally.

Champion Green is the national campaign to back local business founded by Marian O'Gorman and backed by Kilkenny Design. Bannerton led its PR from launch in June 2020 to April 2024, with Visa, Ireland's main business bodies and some of its biggest brands behind it, and made Green Friday a national moment.

Mortgage Navigators. The broker the money pages call.

Mortgage Navigators opened in September 2023 as a new name in a crowded broker market. Bannerton made its managing director, Margaret Barrett, a regular voice on mortgages in The Irish Times, the Business Post and on Newstalk, and from November 2024 to December 2025 she was in the national media about twice a month.

NorDan Ireland. A Norwegian name, opened to the Midlands.

NorDan has made high-performance windows and doors in Norway since 1926. As its Irish business, already employing almost 150 people, announced a €5m investment in a new Dublin headquarters and a Midlands showroom, we gave that growth national and regional profile.

Hello GoodLife. Proving strength has no age limit.

Hello GoodLife runs community strength and mobility hubs in Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon, using power-assisted equipment and building social connection into every session. We took its story from local hubs to national media.

Enterprise Ireland. Irish innovation, heard in the Gulf.

For Enterprise Ireland's trade mission to GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, Bannerton built the UAE story around two Irish women founders, Rena Maycock of Chirp and Rosanne Longmore of Coroflo, and took the delegation to Irish readers at home through a Sunday Times business spread.

Xtremepush. Funding, jobs and a new Dublin home.

Bannerton ran business media relations for Xtremepush, the Dublin customer engagement platform, as it raised $33m and set out to double in size. Each milestone, from the Grafton Capital round to a new headquarters opened by a Minister, became national coverage that told customers, recruits and investors the same story.

RE/MAX Ireland. Local agents, a national voice.

RE/MAX Ireland is a network of independently owned estate agencies. We gave it a national voice on buying, selling and living well in your home, and put its agents and listings in the property pages.

Bluebird Care. Home care, told through the people who give it.

From February 2022 to September 2026 Bannerton built a national voice for Bluebird Care, one of Ireland's leading home care providers, through carer stories, recruitment news and community partnerships. The work put a network of 26 locally owned offices in front of families in their own county and in the national press.

FUJIFILM instax. Instant cameras, lasting coverage.

Bannerton ran consumer PR in Ireland for FUJIFILM instax cameras and the Imagine photo printing service from 2016 into 2018. We turned every gifting moment in the calendar into coverage, and took a fun little camera all the way to the Financial Times.

Kilkenny Design. Five years as the voice of Irish design.

From 2019 to 2024 Bannerton ran all of Kilkenny Design's PR, for the retailer that has championed Irish craft and design for more than fifty years. We created Green Friday, opened its Christmas shops, guided the group through a change of leadership and put its story in front of Irish America.
