Turning a quarterly survey into national news.
The Employment and Recruitment Federation speaks for Ireland's recruitment industry. Every quarter it publishes the Irish Labour Market Monitor, with research by Ipsos B&A. We make sure each one lands as a story, not a statistic.
editorial pieces in a year, across 72 outlets, adverts and sponsorship lines excluded
pieces quoting or bylined by the federation’s President, its only voice on radio
national print pieces, in the Irish Independent, the Irish Examiner and The Herald
radio bulletins in one day for the June Monitor
The challenge
Strong research, competing for space.
Labour market data lands on Irish news desks every week. A quarterly survey only earns its place if it says something new, says it plainly and has a credible voice standing behind it. Without that, even good research becomes one more set of numbers.
What we did
Find the angle, then protect it.
Each quarter we read the Monitor for the one finding that changes the conversation, from hiring taking longer to a two speed labour market. The release goes first to a single national paper as an exclusive, then to national and regional media, with ERF's spokesperson briefed to carry it on air.
The Employment and Recruitment Federation (ERF) have worked with Bannerton PR as their PR and media partner since 2017. Sharon has always been proactive, responsive, and genuinely invested in understanding our business. We truly value the partnership and would highly recommend them to any organisation looking for a trusted PR partner who combines expertise with a personal touch.
The results
Every quarter, a headline.
Dec 2025
The ERF Recruitment Awards bring 25 regional print and online pieces, putting member firms in their local papers.
June 2026
The Monitor on hiring taking longer runs in 23 radio bulletins in one day on Newstalk and nine regional stations, with The Irish Times carrying it online. The President’s “job hugging” framing carries the story.
Aug 2026
The next Monitor, on a two speed labour market where steady employment hides the loss of 35,000 tech jobs, runs as an Irish Independent exclusive before the wider release.
Oct 2026
An ERF story on funding for AI training runs as a technology exclusive, taking the federation beyond the jobs pages.
The year
13 October 2025 to 13 October 2026: 136 editorial pieces across 72 outlets, every one checked by hand against the outlet itself.
